What you’ll do:

The Pharmacist I is responsible for the provision of safe, effective, and efficient preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical services. The Pharmacist I manages medication therapy by assessing patients for potential and actual drug related problems and intervening as required to optimize patient outcomes. This position is non-unionized.

Required Qualifications:

Required Qualifications: Graduate of a Pharmacy program or recognized equivalent required. Active license with the Alberta College of Pharmacists (ACP) required. Successful applicants will be required to attain additional prescribing authorization within 18 months of date of hire as a condition of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with chemotherapy provision. Previous hospital experience and familiarity with Connect Care.

Meat Supervisor

St. Paul

Full Time

Cornerstone Co-op invites applications for the position of Meat Supervisor to join our Meat team on a full-time basis at our location in St. Paul, AB. Reporting to the Meat Manager.

What you’ll do:
• Engage and interact with member-owners and customers to provide outstanding Co-op experiences.
• Provide meal solution suggestions and recommendations to members and customers based on their needs and preferences.
• Perform proper clean-up, maintenance, and housekeeping duties (i.e., logging temperatures, sanitizing work areas).
• Provide leadership and direction to the Meat team, creating a positive and productive work environment.
• Assist the Meat Manager in overseeing team performance, scheduling, and department operations.
• Support sales and margin goals through effective merchandising and inventory control.
• Take an active role on the sales floor, coaching and mentoring team members while leading by example.
• Maintain stock levels through regular ordering, receiving, and stocking of meat products.
• Ensure safe food handling practices and adherence to all safety and cleanliness standards.
• Complete administrative and operational tasks to support the department’s success.
• Be available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays on a rotational basis.
• Demonstrate daily behaviors that align with the Co-operative’s vision, mission, and values.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support team operations and customer service initiatives.

Who you are:
• You have a Grade 12 education or a combination of relevant experience. Previous meat or retail supervisory experience is an asset.
• You’re action-oriented, customer-focused, and enjoy working with others as part of a team.
• You’re honest, trustworthy, and results-oriented, always striving to be the best in what you do.
• You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
• You are proficient in handling and preparing a variety of meats, including beef, pork, and chicken, while adhering to food safety and quality standards.
• You are capable of regularly lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
